Industrial sector has an important and effective role in countries’ economic development as a result of making investment and creating job opportunities and contribution to the gross domestic products (GDP). For this reason, the industrial department in Kurdistan Regional Statistics Office (KRSO) in cooperation with relevant parts in government working to obtain annual statistical data on industrial sector by carrying out industrial establishments surveys to achieve important indicators such as the number of establishments, the number of workers, wages, benefits, needs, and total production value).
