it refers to the places of living (accommodation) of the tourists during their trip. Tourism establishments includes Hotels, motels, apartments and tourism complexes permitted by relevant authorities in Kurdistan region government (KRG).   Tourism establishments are surveyed in order to identify tourism activities and provide a number of important indicators (the number of tourism establishments, the number of workers, wages, revenues, the value of needs, income, the number of overnight stays). The tourism establishments classified into ranks and starts by the size of services they provide as follows:

• High rank or five stars,
• First rank or four stars,
• Second rank with three stars,
• Third rank with two stars,
• Fourth rank with one star,
• The fifth rank with no star known as national ones.
