First meeting of high committee on food security survey was held at Kurdistan statistics office (KRSO) on April 6th, 2016. The meeting was supervised by the president of KRSO, and attended by the heads of the statistical directorates of Kurdistan region, representatives from WFP and ministry of health – nutrition department. In the meeting, the survey’s work plan and implementing stages were discussed. The survey is due to be conducted by KRSO with cooperation of WFP and coordination with CSO during the month of May 2016. The meeting lasted 2 hours.
