18th January 2024 In the light of the Joint cooperation Agreement between the Iraqi Government and the European Union, deputy Minister of Planning and acting president of Statistics Office of Kurdistan Region Government together with Mr. Delawar Azghaee, the representative of the Kurdistan Region Government in Belgium, participated in the first meeting of the Development Cooperation Committee in Brussels, Belgium. The representatives of the federal government were ambassador Mr. Ahmed Barwari and deputy ambassador Mrs. Berivan Duski, along with Dr. Maher Johan, the deputy minister of planning of Iraq and accompanying delegation.
The meeting was dedicated to reviewing the agenda of the committee for the next few years in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning in Iraq and through the Ministry to other relevant ministries.
