The workshop aims at developing the comprehensive census framework for countries in difficult circumstances (Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Sudan and Libya), including the plan of action, timetable, estimated budget, census structure, use of geographic information systems in various census stages, data collection using tablets and modern means, and to benefit from the experiences of countries which have successfully conducted censuses using such technologies.
