Technical committee holds a meeting on comprehensive registration of displaced people (CRDP)

Technical committee discussed the first results of the first stage of CRDP and preparation for the second stage this project.
The meeting was hold under supervision of the head of KRSO on 5 July 2015. The meeting attended by project manager, the head of the committee of the central supervision, the head of the media committee, and representatives from ministries of health, trade, and education, as well as representatives from Kurdistan Region Bureau of migration and displacement (MODM), United Nations Organization for refugees (UNHCR), United Nations fund for population (UNFPA) and International Organization for migration (IOM).
All activities concerned the process of updating the list of displaced people were discussed in the meeting. Also, the data from international Organization of immigration as base data and the preliminary results of this stage of CRDP were compared, where the attendants showed their satisfaction with the results.
KRSO announced its willingness to start the second stage of the project that is going to be done after Ramadan, on August. At the end of the meeting, and with presentation of representatives from UNHCR, Kurdistan- based office of immigration, directorate of migration affiliated to ministry of interior in Kurdistan Region, the head of KRSO recommended to continuously undertake the task of registration of displaced people in Kurdistan Region until the office of migration is entirely ready and do the training to take this task.
