A course on price index is held at KRSO
A 5-day course on price index was held under supervision of president of Kurdistan Region Statistics Office (KRSO) in cooperation with Central Statistics Organization (CSO) at KRSO between 30/82015 to 3/9/2015. The course targeted the price index departments from statistics directorates of KRSO.
The course started with delivering lecture on price index and how to enter data on Access program during collecting data. During two days of the course the attendants talked about the program and exchanged their idea on the subject.
At the coming days there was discussion on the methods of preparing the price index for consumer price and the guides and suggestions were given about the prices’ forms and seasonal items as well as the errors from field and how to treat these errors.
