Under the supervision of the president of KRSO, the high committee of household socio economic survey (IHSESIII) held its first online meeting on 24/4/2022 With participation of the heads of statistics of the Kurdistan regions’ governorates and technical team from KRSO.
At the beginning of the meeting that lasted for one hour, the president of KRSO highlighted the importance of the survey and talked about the activities have been done concerning the survey, including the in advance training course which was held in KRSO one week before the survey. At the same time, he talked about the problems that confronted the survey preparation process. Then, the supervisor of the survey from social statistics in KRSO talked about the technical procedures and the next steps of the survey.
It is worth mentioning participants discussed details in general and decided to hold the second meeting in KRSO in the coming weeks. This survey is one of the important surveys to be conducted by KRSO in cooperation with CSO under supervision of World Bank and WFP to highlight the situation of households in Kurdistan region in term of expenditure, income, education, health, employment and unemployment, agriculture …etc. this survey is to be don within one year of field work.
