Supervised by Minister of planning of Iraq, Serwan Mohammed, president of KRSO participated in the fifth meeting of the census high committee in Iraq. The meeting was held in Baghdad, Monday 6/6/2022.
Due to the financial and political situation, the meetings were postponed following the last meeting in August 2020. In the meeting, the minister of planning decided to carried out the census in a preliminary manner in the last quarter of 2023.
President of KRSO expressed the willing of ministry of planning and KRSO to resume preparatory steps and further bilateral cooperation in order to achieve full understanding towards the implementation of census.
