To make cooperation between the World Food Program and Statistical institutions a workshop is held in Cairo

To start cooperation between the World Food Program (WFP) and Statistical institutions from west Asia and west European countries and North African countries, Iraqi delegation participated in a workshop on the food security situation and daily market prices in Cairo between 9/5/2017 and 11/5/2017. 
Iraqi delegation comprised of representatives from KRSO and CSO where it presented a detailed report on food security situation, and then the delegation showed its readiness to support this program and its continuous cooperation in this field. During the workshop, “Safety Nets Alert Platform” was decussated as well. 
Safety Nets Alert Platform is an initiative system on the household behavior and monitoring markets to in advance alarm the food security situation and treat the chronic situation to support society.
